It's time for the Architecture for Humanity | Houston monthly meeting! Come learn about our organization and the local projects we have going.
We're currently working on an outdoor classroom at the Harbach-Ripley Community Center as well as a farmer's market tent for the Near Northside's Mercado de Northside, Grand Opening Friday October 19th.
For the month of September, our monthly meeting will be held at Artscape Youngplace in Studio 108 (1st floor on the north end of the building) from 7pm - 8:30pm. The location is a few minutes walk away from Queen St. W and Shaw St.
Come out members new and old and see what volunteer opportunities and projects are available!
Hope to see you there! :)
Hey Design Advocates!
Come join us for an evening with Journeyman International, an exciting group with an innovative model of public interest design they'd like to share. Sponsored by PUBLIC Journal and WJE Associates, the event will introduce the work JI is doing with architecture students in developing countries. There will be food, drinks and plenty of conversation on how students, professors and professionals in the area can get involved.
Check out their website for more info:
