The Hackney Hexayurt
We'll be building a hexayurt - the world's most successful open source building project - at Hackney City Farm.
During the day you'll learn the basics of making good houses from simple materials like plywood, and get a chance to help the farm by "barn raising" a much-needed working building. The hexayurt is being tested in Haiti and Sri Lanka as transitional shelter, and is about half the price of a disaster relief tent.
Trip to fireworks after for 7pm.
